Hong Kong’s renowned film industry has once again received global recognition with the announcement of the winners of this year’s HK Prize. HK Prize, one of Asia’s most prestigious high school contests, rewards students for their academic achievements and extracurricular participation. This year, the prize has added perks for participants who show promise and passion for community service.
The judging process is carried out by expert panels in each award category. The panel members are appointed by the Organising Committee, which ensures a balanced representation of different sectors and disciplines. The winner of each award will receive a certificate and a trophy. The winners will also be given an opportunity to participate in a special programme of events and workshops hosted by the organisers.
Each judging panel for each award category will set up a preliminary judging team to select the nominees. The nominations will then be forwarded to a final judging panel, which will be responsible for the subsequent adjudication. The final judging panel for each award field should not include more than five persons (or teams).
