A sidney prize is an award that honors writers or individuals for their work in the literary and other arts. Many different prizes are offered, each with its own advantages and requirements. Some are given to those who write long-form essays, while others honor individuals who promote human rights and nonviolence. There are even awards for scientists who make a significant contribution to the field. If you’re interested in making an impact, it’s important to understand how these prizes function before applying for one.
Winners will be notified by email, phone or mail in the week of May 1/2024. To request a list of winners, send a self-addressed business-size envelope with a name and city/state address to: SFCU Cash Giveaway, 42 Union St., Sidney, NY 13838.
